Making a new office for North Star [English Version]

When we started North Star, our goals had nothing to do with headquarters and offices. We were looking for a place to park, clean and fix the bikes when we finished our rides. Some room to keep parts, tires, clothes etc. and a place to keep our paper work, contracts, emails and stuff like that. Lately we were facing some issues regarding the number of riders that we could host in our facilities plus we had some issues with single day events and riders that had to leave our company after we finished riding. 
Having already an old company that we could host the bikes, we started thinking of the right mods, so we offer better and complete services plus make our lives better while working with the motorcycles.




Since all North Star stuff are experienced craftsmen (Andreas is a professional plumber and he can fix almost everything regarding a building and myself I love to work on wood and metal among other stuff) we decided to do this on our own. We needed the help of a building architect to design the outline and the spaces demanded by the needs of activities we wanted to provide. Plus there were some additions we needed to create to our facilities, like a shower room, or a better locker room and an organized garage.

Our final goal of all this, implemented my deep wish and desire to create a space that would not only be our headquarters, but a living space to meet, talk, interfear with our guests pleasantly, spaciously with modern feeling and design. We wanted to create a space to host our motorcycles safely, but also show them to the people visiting the place to ignite the wish to ride them right on sight.

The changing room had to be larger, with plenty of space for people to move, try on the gear and prepare their backpacks. Water suply is proveded right there, while we also have a kitchen to keep things warm or refrigerated before we start our events or after we return.

In our new building now we have an organised garage, the bikes are placed next to it and preparing and fixing them now is very easy. It is an open space, so the guy who fixes the motorcycles is not isolated, plus the prep procedure is fun for everybody.
