Brake and clutch levers

How many levers per hard enduro riding day ? Maybe none maybe one, in worse cases maybe two. I never did the math. The only thing that really pissed me off is that you have to survive without one during your ride and usually in the worse part of the trail. Then I did the math. You have to pay something like 10€ to 20€ to replace your brake lever, maybe more if you have a KTM (!).
This means that in three replacements you cover the cost of an ASV lever or other brand levers that... well it actually never brakes. But lets get closer. These levers are well designed, nice shaped and feels like a strong, massive tool to control you loved enduro bike. They seem bulky on the bike and kind of long if you don't ask for a short version which I was quite sure there was one. The first part which in moste cases is brushed aluminum, gives me the picture of a good, strong construction, nice detail curved cnc product, while the second part which is actually the real lever is strongly attached with a clever joint to the first part, leaving you the feeling that nothing can happen to the total even in the hardest cases.

ASV has an online web shop but... good luck ordering if you don't have a KTM. Especially for other EU brands the scenery is foggy. It took me days of reading and studying which ones I can fit on to my Gas Gas EC 300 2011 bike, but eventually I made it. (Just for the record, it might be interesting to consider replacing the factory clutch pump with some other so you get parts for it easier)
Another brand I discovered in Next, with a better looking set of levers, advanced design and more sophisticated construction.

You can get them here http://www.matrixracingproducts.com/next-smart-brake-clutch-levers/

while the ASV online store is here: http://asvinventions.com

Riding with ASV levers makes you worry about everything else when you drop the bike in the trail than the levers.

If you have any reviews on these, feel free to post in the comments section below to help other make their mind on purchasing the propper ones.
